Director Teja who gave us hits that dealt with true love like ‘Nuvvu Nenu’, ‘Jayam’ and many more has been having a rough patch lately. He has planned a new movie titled ‘Savithri’ with none other than Victory Venkatesh.

Though titles with feminine names like ‘Malleshwari’, ‘Lakshmi’ and ‘Thulasi’ have worked for Venkatesh before, he wouldn’t have a problem with ‘Savithri’ either. Teja’s last few flicks haven’t been clicking in the box office, he would like to break his losing streak with this one.

With classic movies like ‘Chitram’ or even ‘Family Circus’, Teja has been entertaining the Telugu audience well. Let us hope he breaks the jinx with this and Venky be his lucky charm.

Meanwhile Venky is busy with ‘Nagavalli’(another feminine title) with director P.Vasu.
